Cyprus presses olives every autumn. The pits were a problem.
Formed in Cyprus, we transform discarded olive pits into table tops, cutting down organic waste while offering a fresh alternative to conventional worktops.

A recipe of four pit sizes, pressed into a solid panel.
When we started our journey from the island, our goal has been to inspire the global design community and invite people into meaningful, sustainable action. We craft commercial panels under the name pit-board, blending striking visual storytelling with heritage, durability, and a premium finish.

Diversity is the spice of life.
Our work also brings Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities together through a shared agricultural resource, creating a rare example of cross-community collaboration through material innovation.

Our impact
10000 kg
of olive pomace diverted from waste so far, working directly with farmers across Cyprus.
Contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
We work directly with olive farmers across Cyprus and have so far diverted more than 10,000 kg of olive pomace from waste.
Since launching Pit-Board®, our work has been recognised through international design awards and supported by UNDP and European Union funding as we contribute towards a number of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The material has been showcased at leading design events across Europe and beyond, and was highlighted by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen as a European success story.
Beyond the material itself, Pit-Board® demonstrates how innovation can create connections. By working with olive producers from across the island, our supply chain brings Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot communities together through a shared agricultural resource, creating a rare example of cross-community collaboration through material innovation.
